School of Business, Economics and Law - Facilities
The School of Business, Economics and Law is located on two locations in central Gothenburg.
Vasagatan 1
The School's main buildning and most lecture halls are located on Vasagatan 1. The building is characterized by its large windows that give the school a natural light most of the day. Parts of the school are culturally marked and have been praised for their architecture. There are study places around the school, and also in the school courtyard.
Economics Library
The library is located in the School's premises on Vasagatan 1. The library holds books and journals in business administration, economics, human geography, economic history, law and statistics. The library also holds special collections concerning the UN and the EU.
Restaurant Handelsr盲tten
In Handelsr盲tten and Hyllan, which are located on floors three and four in house E at Vasagatan 1, you can buy lunch or prepare a homemade lunch box in one of the School鈥檚 microwave ovens.
Student Union
The Student Union have newly renovated premises in L2 and L3. When there are no other union activities, there are several study places in the union's student pub.
New building
The School is getting a new building at Vasagatan 1. With the new building, the School will get an international cutting-edge learning environment on the international forefront, where research and education can be developed to meet the needs of society, and where faculty, staff and students will flourish and enjoy working, studying and spending time. The new building also makes it possible to gather all departments at one address. There will be an entrance to the V盲stl盲nken Station Haga integrated in the building, which makes the School and the University an even clearer part of the city. The new building is planned to be completed in 2027.
Viktoriagatan 13
Viktoriagatan 13 is just a few blocks away from the main building at Vasagatan 1. There are several classrooms and group rooms at Viktoriagatan 13. At entrance level you will find the School's Career Service and the study hall Piazzan. There are microwaves located close to Piazzan.
