On June 17th, the full-rigged Sørlandet will dock at Amerikakajen in the Port 91̽»¨, fully loaded with marine scientists! The sailing, which goes from Kristiansand to Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo, is an initiative to focus on the marine environment in the Western Sea. In the port, the sailing participants, together with researchers from the University 91̽»¨ and the Swedish University of Agricultural 91̽»¨s, will organize an exhibition about the problems and solutions for the marine environment, with fun activities for both adults and children! The event is also co-organized with the Port 91̽»¨ and the Maritime Museum and Aquarium.
Sørlandet arrives at 11:00 and departs at 20:00, and the exhibition will be open between 15:00-18:00.
Opening speech
At 15:00, the event will begin with opening speeches from Max Petzold, Vice President for Digitalization and Utilization at the University 91̽»¨, sailing coordinator Marte Sodeland, EU parliamentarian and member of parliament Emma Nohrén (MP), documentary filmmaker Martin Falklind, known from the TV series "Fiskarnas Rike", and Lars Johansson, chairman of the board of the Port 91̽»¨ AB.

The exhibition is easy to find from the Maritime Museum and Aquarium's main entrance at Stigbergstorget, where there will be signs and a points walk!
